LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A suspect accused of invading a woman's home, abducting her and her two children, then robbing a bank is in custody Friday afternoon.
LMPD said there was a robbery around 9:30 a.m. Friday at a PNC Bank next to the Oxmoor Center on Shelbyville Road.
According to police, a male, age unknown, first invaded a woman’s home, then took her car, with her and her children inside, to the bank to demand cash.
They said he was armed with a knife.
He got an unknown amount of money, then ran away from the scene, police said.
He also assaulted the woman, but police said her injuries aren’t life threatening, and her kids were not harmed.
WLKY spoke with the woman's husband, who said she had cuts to her stomach and hand.
