LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A Louisville park might be replacing its tennis courts with a roller-skating rink, but first, officials are asking the public's opinions.
Mayor Craig Greenberg and Louisville Parks and Recreation are asking for people to complete a community survey on Lannan Park in west Louisville.
The survey asks about how often people visit the park, how they use the space and if they would support a roller-skating rink.
The results of this survey will help guide future plans for the park and how to best utilize the space.
According to Greenberg, the idea for a roller-skating rink sprang from several pop-up roller-skating events that have been held at tennis courts in Lannan and Shawnee parks.
