CLEVELAND — For the sixth consecutive year, a moving tribute to heroes and fallen service members will grace Cleveland 's lakefront as the FBI Cleveland Citizens Academy Alumni Association prepares to display hundreds of American flags at Edgewater Park.

The Flags for Honor display, scheduled from Thursday, Sept.11 through Sunday, Sept. 14, will line the south walking path of the popular lakefront destination, creating a visible reminder for both westbound traffic and beachgoers of the sacrifices made by those who serve our communities.

The tribute begins with an Opening Ceremony at noon on Sept. 11, marking the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives. The timing is intentional, according to organizers from the FBI Cleveland Citizens Academy Alumni Ass
