AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Public Health Department says it believes there may be a possible case of West Nile virus in Travis County.

The backstory:

APH says a patient displayed symptoms of the virus to their healthcare provider.

As of August 4, nine mosquito pools have tested positive for West Nile virus in Travis County this season.
