Ohio & PA - Over 800 cases of frosted sugar cookies sold at Target stores in several states including Ohio and Pennsylvania have been recalled due to potential "foreign cotamination."

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a total of 803 cases of Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies were recalled due to a potential wood contamination.

The cookies were sold in packs of 10 with the lot number 25195. The expiration dates of the recalled products may vary, as they are applied when they are removed from the freezer.

The FDA has classified this as a Class II recall, which means the product may cause temporary or medically-reversible adverse health consequences and the probability of severe adverse health consequences is remote.
