An elderly woman described as bedridden was rescued from her burning apartment in Woburn, Mass., thanks to two Good Samaritans, authorities said.

The Woburn Fire Department said that around 5 a.m. local time on Friday, Aug. 8, firefighters responded to a fire at the Bradford Arms Condos on North Warren Street.

They arrived to find two men and a woman on a second-floor balcony, authorities said, adding that the fire came from the woman’s apartment.
