SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Music has become a big part of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Big names hitting the stage this year include ZZ Top, Nickelback, and Jason Aldean. The Sioux Falls-based Ron Keel Band had the honor of being the first band to play at this year's 85th rally, opening for the main act.

"We are the Ron Keel Band, kicking off Saturday night at the rally!" Founder Ron Keel told the crowd from the stage.

The Ron Keel Band has been at the Sturgis Rally for the last 9 years. This year, they opened for Night Ranger at the legendary Full Throttle Saloon.
