NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - It's been a busy week in the Atlantic basin in terms of potential tropical development and we now have one more area to keep an eye on.
According to the National Hurricane Center, there's a tropical wave off the western coast of Africa that's producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
The NHC says that "some slow development of this system is possible next week while the system moves west-northwestward at 15 to 20-mph across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic."
The chance to see formation for this area is 0% for the next 48-hours and 20% over the next 7-days.
As for the other two spots...
The tropical wave out in the central tropical Atlantic is seeing an increase in shower activity as it travels northwestward.
