BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — In this week's Business Beat, Sanford Sports may have just changed the game for athletes by adding in a whole lot of extra space into their facility.

Currently, they operate their space mainly for athletes who want extra training. The building already has synthetic turf, strength training equipment, physical therapy rooms, and two batting cages.

But now, with this new 6,000-square-foot expansion, they added in three batting cages, an 80-yard 3-lane indoor sprint track, and a 3,500-square-foot turf area.

Alec Shull, lead specialist for the baseball and softball academy, says he's excited about this new expansion because it will help get kids off the waitlists.
