SALADO, Texas — The Sparklers, the Salado Middle School Dance team, is coached by former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Traci Tipping. Under the bright lights, these talented young dancers are preparing to bring magic to the sidelines once again.

Leading the Sparklers with passion and expertise, Tipping has been transformational in the lives of her dancers, inspiring them both on and off the dance floor. Her journey with the team began in 2020 during the challenging COVID era, when Salado didn't have a drill team.

Tipping started the program to continue her passion for dancing through coaching, creating this opportunity in honor of her late father. What began as a tribute has blossomed into a program that gives young dancers a taste of what their dreams could become.
