The New York Giants are set to play the Buffalo Bills in a Saturday preseason clash during which first-round rookie Jaxson Dart is expected to get his first NFL playing time.
Dart was one of two quarterbacks selected in the opening round of the 2025 NFL Draft, along with No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. The Ole Miss product joined a quarterback depth chart that also included Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito as the Giants look to find consistency at the position following the pitfalls of the Daniel Jones era.
Presently, Dart ranks No. 3 overall on the Giants' unofficial quarterback depth chart behind Wilson and Winston. Will the 22-year-old be able to move up the ladder? That remains unclear, but he should get ample opportunities to prove himself during the preseason.
