LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - As Nebraska football wraps up its second week of fall camp, head coach Matt Rhule announced two players will miss the upcoming season due to knee injuries.

Sophomore cornerback Blye Hill and junior linebacker Gage Stenger were both injured in fall camp and will be sidelined for the 2025 season.

“Unfortunately, Blye Hill and Gage Stenger will be out for the year,” Rhule said during his Saturday press conference. “Both got injured.”

Hill transferred to Nebraska from Saint Francis in January 2024 before injuring his knee that spring. He was limited last season and redshirted after playing in two games against UCLA and Wisconsin.
