The Buffalo Bills don't need anymore injuries to their secondary.

Buffalo Bills nickel cornerback Taron Johnson suffered a head injury but walked off under his own power in the preseason opener against the New York Giants on Saturday.

Johnson looked fantastic on the Giants ' opening drive, tackling tight end Daniel Bellinger on the first possession for no gain.

Johnson was shaken up on the second defensive possession.

On second-and-3 from the Giants' 36-yard line, rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart completed a short pass to tight end Greg Gulcich. Johnson made a break on the pass and ran through the 6-foot-4, 245-pound Dulcich for the perfect open-field tackle.

Johnson was slow to get up and then took a knee for an injury timeout. He walked off under his own power.
