LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — After a five-week search that Louisville police called "a game of cat and mouse," investigators found a man who allegedly abandoned a four-month-old child to run from officers when he was pulled over in July.
The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) had posted on social media asking for help finding Christopher Morris, 42, who had run from authorities after a traffic stop in the Village West area on July 2.
Emergency personnel took the baby to stay with a grandparent after he ran, per Louisville police.
Department officials announced on Aug. 9 that Morris had been found hiding in a closet.
He was arrested and charged with: • Two counts of flagrant non-support • Harassment—physical contact with no injury • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felo
