LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington is growing, and after six decades, a new blueprint for downtown is in the works.
Monday was all about putting brains together to get results.
"We want to plan that's feasible, that's doable, that builds on the vibrancy that we have in downtown, and also plans for the future of our downtown," Hannah LeGris, LFUCG Third District Councilmember, said.
The day included different community members coming together, ranging from church members, retail owners, real estate developers, and more.
Many of downtown's buildings have Dudley Webb's fingerprints on them, including the City Center. He has helped develop Lexington over the last five decades.
