A 63-yard field goal by Sergio Castillo gave the Bombers a 27-25 advantage with 1:01 remaining on the game clock.

The Stampeders started with possession at their 40-yard line and pushed the ball down to the Winnipeg 33-yard line prior to the winning score. The drive covered 37 yards on five plays.
