ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Three people were taken to a trauma center overnight after a prop plane crashed into a homeowner’s yard in Brookhaven.

At around 12:25 a.m. on Saturday, Brookhaven police, Chamblee police and the DeKalb County fire department were called to the home at the intersection of Clairmont Road and 9th Street, which is near the Peachtree-DeKalb Airport.

The plane’s three occupants were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. According to authorities, the worst injuries were a broken wrist and a broken ankle.

DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson said her thoughts are with the injured.
