MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Volunteers with Common Man for Ukraine are in Zakopane, Poland, on their 13th trip hosting a trauma counseling retreat for Ukrainian children impacted by the war against Russia.
Saturday marked the start of the three-week program known as the "Children of Ukraine Health Retreat." On the first day, volunteers said they gave Ukrainian children stuffed animals and calming solar lanterns for them to use during power outages at their homes.
Volunteers said all of the children at the retreat have lost their fathers in the war against Russia.
