HUNTINGBURG, Ind. (WFIE) - Huntingburg was the place to be, Saturday night, for a special exhibition baseball game: the second annual, Big League Baseball Classic!
The event was at League Stadium, and it’s put on, by the Dubois County Bombers -- Huntingburg’s summer collegiate team, in the Prospect League.
It featured several former big leaguers -- particularly Cardinals players, like Vince Coleman, Brian Jordan, Jason Motte, and Jason Isringhausen.
They teamed up with local talent, like Southridge grad Camden Gasser and Jasper grad Kai Kunz, to put on a show, for the jam-packed crowd.
Before the game, fans got to enjoy a special meet and greet with the players, as well as a home run derby.
