For 36 years, The Mustard Seed of Central Florida has been helping rebuild the lives of individuals and families by providing them with clothing and household furnishings. The circumstances of these situations vary widely.

“It could be a natural disaster or a house fire, people who are aging out of foster care, homeless veterans, people who have lost everything due to a medical hardship or job loss,” says Kathy Baldwin, the nonprofit’s executive director.

For Katherine, 37, it was a divorce.
