A fire broke out late Saturday at an apartment complex near the Mall at Millenia and left 18 people displaced, according to the Orlando Fire Department.

Just after 7 p.m. crews responded to a call about a fire on the 4600 block of Cason Cove Dr. and were met with billowing clouds of smoke and flames coming from the two-story walk-up apartment complex, the Orlando Fire Department posted on X.

The agency said the fire displaced 15 adults and three children but no injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is working alongside all families except one, who had a place to stay, the Fire Department said.

In total, 16 units were impacted by the fire, including some that were vacant at the time, the agency said.
