Six people, including a 5-year-old girl, were shot Saturday night in Baltimore, police said. Officers responded about 8:45 p.m. to Spaulding and Queensberry avenues and found four men and two women wounded, Police Commissioner Richard Worley said. The girl was shot in the hand and is expected to recover. A 38-year-old man was in critical condition after surgery, while the others — ages 23 to 52 — suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Worley said the victims had been gathered outside when a gunman opened fire. Homicide detectives are investigating.
