BALTIMORE, Md. (DC News Now) -- An investigation is underway after six people, including a 5-year-old girl, were shot in Baltimore on Saturday night, according to police.

Officers were called to the shooting at the intersection of Spaulding and Queensbury avenues at around 8:45 p.m., Baltimore Police Department Commissioner Richard Worley said during a press conference. At the scene, police found six people who had been shot.

Responders took all six people, including four men, one woman and the 5-year-old girl, to area hospitals for treatment. Worley said the victims' ages range from 23 to 52, not including the child.
