New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll had plenty of time to assess the rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart ahead of Saturday's preseason action against the Buffalo Bills.

For the first time, the rest of the NFL world got to see what the Giants have seen over the past couple of weeks. With one game in the books, it's safe to say that Dart has impressed so far.

Surprising? Maybe to some. To Brian Daboll, the game didn't come with any shock factors.

"[He did] about what I thought he would do," Daboll told reporters after Saturday's action.

"Efficient, effective, aggressive, confident in the pocket. Some stuff we could work on, but he's doing good."
