HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway following a deadly crash in Hartford on early Sunday morning.

At around 3:19 a.m. officers were called to the area of Albany Avenue after a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a SUV, the police department said.

When crews arrived, they found the motorcyclist in the roadway while suffering life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was also injured, but with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both individuals were transported to a nearby hospital.

Unfortunately, the motorcyclist died due to the extent of his injuries.

Officials have identified him as 30-year-old Kareem Hardial of Hartford.

This incident remains under investigation.
