FARGO — A 31-year-old Fargo man died Saturday after crashing his motorcycle into a car at the intersection of 29th Avenue North and Broadway.
The crash happened at around 2 p.m. when a 59-year-old woman driving a westbound Toyota Corolla stopped at a red light and entered the intersection when the light turned green, according to a ND Highway Patrol press release.
The southbound Yamaha motorcycle failed to stop for the red light while traveling at a high rate of speed and collided with the front passenger side of the car in a T-bone style, according to the release.
The driver of the car was wearing a seat belt. The driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet.
The crash remains under investigation.
