STONEY CREEK, Tenn. (WJHL) — A motorcyclist is dead following a crash in the Stoney Creek area of Carter County on Saturday, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP).

A crash report from the THP said a BMW R90 motorcycle was traveling northbound on TN-91 at around 1:48 p.m. when a Chevy Cobalt "pulled out from a driveway and into the path of" the motorcycle.

The report said the motorcycle struck the Chevy sedan on the front left side.

According to the THP, the driver of the motorcycle, identified as Glenn Eugene Dinicola, 67, of Tennessee, died. He was wearing a helmet.

The report said the driver of the Chevy, a 54-year-old man from Minnesota, was not injured, and charges are pending against him.
