EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A Henderson man is facing drunk driving charges after Evansville Police say he was driving down Green River Road with no headlights on.
Police say 49-year-old Gregory Durbin was driving south on Green River and passed by an officer.
After catching up to Durbin, the officer was able to pull him over in the 5200 block of Covert Avenue.
Officers say they could smell alcohol on Durbin, and after having him take a portable breathalyzer test, they discovered his BAC was .186.
EPD says Durbin originally told them he had drank a couple beers 4 hours prior, before admitting to having 2 drinks before leaving a friend’s house.
Durbin was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he was charged with Drunk Driving.
