DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) - Every year, state fair vendors flood their menus with new foods and fun drinks to try.

But this year, one new beer is supporting an important cause locally, KCCI reports .

The Bubbly Bar and Bistro isn’t only known for the best views in the city, but also the out-of-this-world drinks.

This year it’s the Galaxy Groove.

“It’s an American Pale Ale that has tropical notes,” said Bubbly Bar owner Jennie Enloe.

But for owner Jennie Enloe, it’s more than just a fancy beer.

“Someone very special in the Bubbly Family won the Sam Adams brewing competition and we are so proud for them to bring it to us, because our friend is visually impaired,” she said.
