PONCHATOULA, La. (WGNO) — A Ponchatoula man has been arrested following a child pornography investigation by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

According to the TPSO, the investigation started after child sexual assault materials were uploaded to a social media platform. 32-year-old Aaron Jiles was developed as a suspect in the investigation.

Jiles was later arrested and booked on 60 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 after law enforcement officials performed an analysis on his devices.

The arrest was reportedly made in partnership with Attorney General Liz Murrill's office and their ICAC Task Force which collaborates with many local law enforcement agencies.
