Police are investigating after a teen told police that she was hurt in a shooting that happened in Fairmount Park in West Philadelphia on Sunday morning.

According to police, officers responded after a shooting victim was reported along the 3800 block of North 13th Street in North Philadelphia at about 3:35 a.m. on Sunday.

Here, police said, first responders met a 19-year-old woman who had been shot in the hand. Police said that the woman told officers she was injured in a shooting that happened along the 4800 block of South Georges Drive.

However, officials said, investigators found no evidence of a shooting scene at that location.
