Another petition is making the rounds in Winnipeg, and this one is a direct result of city hall’s new Transit Master Plan. This isn’t about a bus stop moving a block away or a schedule shifting by a few minutes. This is about the complete removal of regular bus service to one of our city’s major hospitals — the Grace.

When the Transit Master Plan first came to council, I was the only councillor to vote against it. My reasons were straightforward: It failed to consult with residents, it was rushed, and it lacked the factual detail needed to justify the sweeping changes it proposed.
