CHICAGO — Many Miami Dolphins starters are dressed and warming up for the team’s preseason opener against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday .
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa appears primed to start as he was seen among Dolphins players dressed in warmups.
He, however, won’t have either of his top two receivers in what might be coach Mike McDaniel’s one dress rehearsal for the first team in the exhibition season.
Wide receiver Tyreek Hill was never in line to play Sunday after he missed Friday’s joint practice with the Bears as he deals with an oblique injury . Fellow starting wideout Jaylen Waddle was also not in uniform for warmups. That means Tagovailoa will throw plenty to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Malik Washington, Dee Eskridge, Tahj Washington and others.
