BARDSTOWN, Ky. —

Parts of Bardstown, Kentucky are under a boil water advisory because of a break on a transmission main.

The advisory impacts all customers in eastern Bardstown as well as areas along U.S. 150 on Springfield Road, Woodlawn Road, and Bloomfield Road.

According to officials, the advisory could remain in place for another two days.

Residents are advised to boil water for at least three minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing dishes.
