CARBONDALE — Southern Illinois Learning in Retirement will be taking a day trip by bus to visit French historical sites along the Mississippi on Thursday, Oct. 16. Registration is open now and will close Aug. 28.

The trip includes a visit to Baetje Farms in Bloomsdale, Missouri, for a tour of the creamery and cheese tasting.
