Standout rookie cornerback Upton Stout has made waves with his training camp performance, but the 49ers Faithful will have to wait at least another week to see him make his NFL preseason debut.
Stout missed San Francisco's 30-9 loss to the Denver Broncos, which 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan clarified was a result of a calf injury while speaking to the media after Saturday's preseason defeat.
"His calf was tight, we were kind of cautious with him," Shanahan told reporters.
