CHICAGO — Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa led a strong drive in his opening series of preseason action Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field, but his team came up empty on points.
Tagovailoa went 5 of 6 for 27 yards on the drive that ended in the Dolphins getting stuffed for a loss on fourth-and-goal at the 1-yard line, bringing back memories of their short-yardage woes in 2024.
While most Miami starters played early Sunday , Tagovailoa did not have his top two receivers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
