LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Sunday provided an update regarding storm response operations across the city.

Officials said all traffic lights are back on. This comes after 69 traffic lights were out early Saturday morning due to power outages across the Capital City.

Debris collection centers are extending their hours due to the high volume of residents cleaning up after the severe storms this weekend.

The City North 48th Street Transfer Station hours are being extended five additional hours Sunday.

From noon to 5 p.m., the transfer station will only accept vehicles that are dropping off tree debris.
