FLINT, MI - The streets of downtown Flint vibrated with bass from powerful speakers as the 13th annual Flint Drop Fest welcomed hundreds of vibrantly dressed attendees to an EDM festival.

The event, which began at noon on Saturday, Aug. 9, featured 10 stages and two silent disco sections. The streets were filled with vendors, artists and food trucks.

One artist, Sage Brown and his company Cosmic Weave Studios, was a popular stop for attendees to buy handmade filigree jewelry, made with woven silver, copper and gold wire.

Brown expressed his joy with the welcoming atmosphere of the festival and response from people looking at his work.
