CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) has recovered approximately $200,000 worth of stolen vehicles and property and several arrests are pending after a multi-jurisdictional investigation.
CCSO announced on Sunday that they had uncovered a large-scale high-end auto parts theft operation spanning multiple communities.
On Saturday, while investigating an unrelated incident in Sheridan Township, deputies saw a suspicious vehicle in the area.
When they contacted the driver, deputies discovered that the vehicle had been recently acquired. CCSO soon confirmed with the registered owner of the vehicle that it had been stolen without their knowledge.
A second stolen vehicle from the same owner was then found on the same property.
