Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker appears to be keeping his future career options open, as revealed in a Sunday interview.
During an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press" with Kristen Welker, the two-term governor said he's focused on winning a third term in 2028, but refused to rule out the possibility of a presidential run.
"I can't rule anything out, but what I can rule in is that no matter what decisions I make, and I mean in particular about what I do here in the State of Illinois is about the people of Illinois," he said. "Indeed, any future decisions of mine will always be guided by that."
