JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Jennings County teenager.

Haley A. Sporleder, 14, was last seen Sunday, Aug. 10 at 8 a.m. in North Vernon. She is described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall, 85 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt with black and white leggings.

Police say she is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Jennings County Sheriff's Office at 812-346-4911 or dial 911.

There are specific standards a person's disappearance must meet in order for police to declare an Amber Alert or a Silver Alert .
