WASHINGTON — The Deanwood community says it is stunned after at least 30 federal officers were in their neighborhood just after midnight on Sunday.
"We saw like ten cars or more coming over the hill," said Tyree Stevenson, better known to the community as "Gotti."
He's a third-generation Deanwood resident and says the federal presence he saw in the early morning hours on 48th Street Northwest was unusual.
"When they hop out, they hop out with their guns in their hands, telling people – come here, come here!" Stevenson explained, "it’s kind of scary, and before you know it, shots went off like bop bop bop bop! Right here, and we’re down there."
WUSA9 obtained ring camera video that shows flashing lights in an alleyway.
