WASHINGTON — One D.C. landlord is facing a laundry list of nearly 500 housing violations and more than $546,000 in fines following a DC Department of Buildings (DOB) investigation. The DOB said the landlord is known to be noncompliant with the D.C. housing code.
Officials announced that Rashid Salem and Petra Development were cited for 486 violations and $546,606 in fines across 15 properties in the District. The fines and citations were a result of a multi-day inspection initiative that happened last month.
