FERGUSON, Mo. – Residents gathered in the parking lot of the Ferguson Police Department Sunday for a “Day of Healing & Prayer” to show support for Officer Travis “TJ” Brown, who remains in recovery after a critical injury during a protest last August.
Friends, family, faith leaders, and officers came together for reflection and encouragement. Brown’s sister expressed gratitude for the community’s support during this challenging time, and thanked God for TJ’s life and service.
Local pastors led prayers, followed by a moment of silence and words from the department chaplain, who highlighted the power of love and unity in the face of adversity.
