NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - You've had a triple shot at seeing August's STURGEON FULL MOON and Sunday is the last night to check it out ahead of Monday's stormy morning.

Here's a spectacular snap that our News Director, Rick Erbach, captured on Saturday night as it was rising above the Crescent City Connection. WOWIE!!!

Temperatures for Sunday night will go down into the upper 70s ahead of Monday's high in the low 90s...

Heads up for later in the week, the heat will surely be making a comeback with the chance to see a few Heat Advisories next weekend as Heat Index values will be very much in the triple digits!
