HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii high school football season kicked off with some exciting action.

Saint Louis marched into Red Raider country and beat Kahuku 20-0.

The Crusaders were able to score at the end of the first quarter off an interception return for a touchdown, and in the final seconds of the game with a Nainoa Lopes run.

Lopes went 15/25 for 157 yards and a touchdown pass and run.

Meanwhile, the Red Raiders were unable to generate any offense. Quarterback Matai Fuiava went 4/16 for just 17 yards and two interceptions.

This was Kahuku’s first shutout on home soil since 1996.
