CHEBOYGAN – Volleyball season is back.

Fall sports season is one of the best times of the year, and one of the reasons why is because volleyball is among the most exciting sports in the Cheboygan area. In this area, we’ve seen tons of elite players lead their respective teams to success in the regular season and postseason, and this year should be fun.

As volleyball practices get underway, here’s the top players in the Cheboygan area to watch in 2025.

Tessa Lake, Cheboygan, Senior – Returning to lead the Chiefs as a senior is Lake, one of the area’s most powerful attackers. A terrific all-around talent, Lake earned all-Northern Shores Conference first team and all-region honors after recording 206 kills, 244 digs, 39 blocks and 40 aces as a junior.
