Hundreds of people have signed an online petition against an application submitted to Coventry City Council's planning portal which could see 350 homes built on what's been described as one of "Coventry’s finest countryside views". The application, submitted last month, is for land off Keresley's Fivefield Road and would include what is known as Hound's Hill - the city's highest natural viewpoint.
It is currently an Outline Major Planning Permission (OUTM) submission, which outlines general details for permission with the finer detail to be approved further down the line. As well as the erection of up to 350 homes, it also includes creation of associated vehicular and pedestrian/cycle access, ecological enhancements, highway improvements, parking, landscaping, drainage features, open
