OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - We’re starting the day with area of fog that is dense in some spots. Clouds are increasing from the south as well. That will lead to a cloudy and damp start to the day as we wait for a few more showers and storms to end enter the area this afternoon.
Highs will get a chance to reach the lower 80s this afternoon before a few spotty storms either develop in the area or move in from the south. Those storms will be trying to develop this morning south of I-80 before they start their trek north. There severe threat is very very low with anything that can develop. Downpours and lightning are the biggest issue.
It should be another muggy one today with dew points well into the 60s.
